This piece was inspired by the box art for the board game Blokus - which
I greatly enjoy -, but I took the liberty of making a new font well, sort
of it looks like the original font, but eskewed, for the background
reminds of the logo of some widely used operating system by some giant
software corporation I know. :.
One of the few nuschool pieces Ive done in the last decade -- it goes to
iMPURE 53 - yeah, seems the pack is actually happening after about 8-9
months of talk, since xzip first suggested it late last year!.
Drawing date 21st of June, 2009, over the course of a few hot summer
days when I was sick and largely bedridden.
Drawing time 6-7 hours.
Software used PabloDraw 2.0.8, Build 70 Windows XP.
File name GRK-BLOK.ANS
Ideal/intended viewing mode 80x25, codepage 437 DOS.
Greetings fly out to Xzip, Pogue, Datachild, Zabutom, Lithis, Polardark,
Absence, Frontier, Taurus, past and present members of ARC, SAE, iMPURE,
rEMORSE81, and certainly a bunch of other cool people im bound to have
forgotten since drifting apart from the scene. Im back, sort of. :
